March 12, 2–3 p.m. OR March 23, 2–3 p.m.
Meet MFAH Staff in the Audrey Jones Beck Building Lobby
http://www.mfah.org/learn/how-look-art-workshops/
For any teen whose response to a work of contemporary art has been "I don't get it" or "Why is this art?" we're offering something new. This program is an informal discussion for teens who want to learn some basic tools for engaging, interpreting, and experiencing contemporary and modern artworks. "How to Look at Contemporary Art" will teach teens about strategies and tactics for looking at contemporary art as well as about its art historical context.
