Our favorite cooking teacher, Mrs. DeLisle, will be offering some special classes during Spring Break. These classes will be offered at her business, Sweet Magnolias Bakery, which is just up the road from EE.

Kids can now learn how to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies like the pros with Wilton's Icing Fun Workshop. In this 1-1/2 hour class, each participant will use decorating tools, icing, and pre-made cupcakes to create 6 of their own unique and beautiful cupcakes in this hands-on workshop. No experience is necessary.

All materials will be provided. Participants will also receive their own Wilton Icing Fun Sampler Kit, which contains 3 tips, a coupler, a decorating bag, and a Wilton Icing Fun Patch.

No minimum age requirement, but it is recommended that children have the maturity for a 90-minute class and sufficient hand strength to squeeze decorating bags.

Fee: $16 per person

Food items and food coloring dyes are used; please dress accordingly.

Psyanky Classes - Art of Ukrainian Easter Eggs

Adults and children ages 10 and older.
Children ages 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Learn how to create these beautiful, intricately patterned Ukrainian Easter Eggs, called Psyanky (pis-an-key), using a traditional wax-resist (batik) technique that uses beeswax and dyes.  In this 2 hour class, each participant will create their own unique egg in this hands-on workshop.  No experience is necessary.

All materials will be provided.  Participants have the option of purchasing a basic kit that contains a kistka, beeswax, and a set of 6 dyes.

Fee: $12 per person
Kit (Optional): $12
Class Size: 6 to 12

Hot wax and permanent dyes are used; please dress accordingly.
