Valentines Day - questions answered

I have had a number of questions about Valentines Day procedures. I hope
this information helps.

Since our program is very fluid and people come at many different times,
we don't usually have one party at a specific time. It kind of goes on
all week... You are welcome to bring snacks if you like, but we will
only be eating them during lunch and recess.

The kids have been decorating bags and putting them on their lockers. If
they don't have a locker they can just bring a box or bag to collect
their cards or see the House Manager to make a bag. We will keep the
extra bags/boxes in the Library.

The simplest thing to do for addressing your Valentines is to just to
have your child write his/her name in the "From" part and then put the
cards in bags of the kids they know. Kids will know it is "for" them if
it in in their bag. ;-) You are welcome to access the Directory and get
names of kids if you like, but I cannot send out class lists with names
for 100+ classes to 100+ families. It is just too time consuming.

Happy Valentines Day!
Elise
