Young Scientist Challenge for 5th-8th Graders

Open to students in grades 5-8, the Young Scientist Challenge asks entrants to create a 1-2 minute video showcasing their great idea to solve a real-world problem. Videos will not be judged on production skills and may be recorded on cell phones or basic digital cameras.

Students have the chance to win:
- $25,000
- An exclusive mentorship with 3M scientists
- A trip to Costa Rica with Discovery Student Adventures

- The first 50 students to submit a video will receive a Young ScientistChallenge prize pack!
All videos must be submitted online no later than April 23, 2013
