It is not too late to join the Gamma chapter of the National Homeschool Honor Society. Gamma has provisional membership through December which allows interested students the opportunity to attend events to find out about the group, and begin to fulfill attendance requirements while waiting for testing scores.
Gamma’s next event will be a service project with Operation Military Embrace (OME) of Tomball. OME's mission is to help seriously injured soldiers & their families through financial, physical, and moral support. To date, they have served over 10,000 wounded soldiers and their families.
This year's project will be held Saturday, October 13th, from 4 - 6 p.m. We will assist OME in transferring goods, obtained for the soldiers from the Second Baptist Second Helping Program, into their Tomball storage unit. We will meet at The Poolman, Inc., 19111 Cypress Rose Hill Road, Tomball 77377.
Feel free to come join us as we serve this great local ministry which affords us the opportunity to show our gratitude to those who have made such huge sacrifices for our freedoms.
