Eta Sigma Alpha
Home School National Honor Society
Gamma Chapter (Northwest Houston Area)
The Gamma Chapter of Eta Sigma Alpha Honor Society was formed in 2001 in the Tomball/Woodlands area to recognize academic achievement and to provide community service opportunities for home schooled students. We accept applications for membership from current freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Honor society membership is an important designation for college and scholarship applications and provides a wonderful venue for leadership and service opportunities!
This school term’s first meeting is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Tomball Community Library Room L129 30555 Tomball Parkway. The meeting is open to any area home schooler and will feature Dr. John Mark Reynolds, provost of HBU and former founder and 17 year director of the Torrey Honors Institute at Biola University, who will speak on Christian leadership through service. Dr. Reynolds will be joined by Mr. Kendrick Skipper, owner of two area Chick-fil-A restaurants, who will speak on Christian principles and ethics in business.
