Montgomery County Right to Life is looking for students who would like to earn money for college and be part of God's work on our Lone Star College campuses. MCRTL sponsored its first pro-life scholar, Christian Rodgers, in 2013. Christian began Lone Star Pro-life group on the Montgomery campus of LSC and his group has quickly grown to 118 students. God, the Giver of Life, is raising up a pro-life generation that is turning back the tide of abortion, euthanasia and disregard for life. You can be a leader in God's work in our community! - Amount: $2,000 per year. Renewable.
- Devote 50 hours each semester to organizing pro-life projects and events through an on-campus pro-life group. This averages out to only about 2.5 hours per week!
- Students agree to be in the program for a minimum of 2 years.
- Deadline: March 16, 2015
- Eligibility: Students who will be high school graduates, who will have at least 2 years of undergraduate course work to complete in the fall of 2015 at Lone Star College.
- Students will receive training through Texas Right to Life during the summer for 1 week to prepare them and will receive support and follow-up throughout their time in the program.
