THSC Endorses Representative Steve Toth for Texas Senate
When conservatives rallied against the liberal incumbent in Texas House District 15 in 2012, they united overwhelmingly behind current State Representative Steve Toth. Representative Toth has since shown himself to be one of the most conservative members of the Texas House of Representatives. His dedication to the conservative principles for which he was elected can be illustrated clearly in the 95% conservative rating that he received from the highly respected conservative organization Texas Eagle Forum.
Tim Lambert, president of the Texas Home School Coalition Association, announced the Association’s support of Representative Toth for Texas senator in Senate District 4 when he said, “The Texas Home School Coalition fought hard for Representative Toth during his 2012 campaign for Texas House, and we fully intend to renew that effort as we support his campaign for Texas Senate in 2014. Conservatives may legitimately question the sincerity of many lawmakers in both the Texas Senate and the Texas House, but Representative Toth is one of the few whose allegiance is never in question. His dedication to Christian values and to the protection of our freedom in Texas is unwavering.”
