Karen will also be leading a Mock Trial "Mock Day" on Friday, September 21 at the EE campus. This is for any student who wants to find out what mock trial is all about. If you can't make it to camp, we hope you will bring your student to explore the mock trial world on EE Mock Day.

The CITE Academy/HBU Mock Trial camp is almost full! This camp is a wonderful, fun vehicle to learn important critical thinking and communication skills. As homeschoolers we often spend a lot of time teaching 5 paragraph essays. Writing is an incredibly important skill but the reality is that with the advent of cell phones and instant communication, verbal skills are paramount. The Mock Trial camp is a great training ground for these skills!
Training in Mock Trial can also open opportunities for a college activity or scholarships. Most universities participate in Mock Trial. In our area University of Texas, A & M, Houston Baptist, Rice, St. Thomas, U of H, SMU, Baylor, etc. all have Mock Trial teams.
